This last year has probably been one of my most challenging yet.  One cold Weekend last February I decided it was time to persue this dream I had of running my own business and see where my dreams would actually take me.

Shortly after that my partner and I decided to separate which was a very sad time for both of us and his 4 gorgeous children.  The 6 of us had spent almost every weekend together for the past 3 years.  I had loved and cherished them like my own and was heartbroken to face the changes that lay ahead and afraid of loosing the special bond I had with them.  As it turned out – I had nothing to worry about and still enjoy a special relationship with them.

With a lot of courage and support from some special family and friends I faced my future head on and decided to channel my energy into a very positive project and that was when ‘Thumbelina Design’ was born.
